How do I break through a strength plateau?
A plateau usually means your body has adapted. The fastest fix is progressive overload — add 2.5 kg or one extra rep each week. Try a deload week first (50% volume), then come back heavier. Also check your sleep and protein intake — recovery drives adaptation, not the session itself.
What should I eat after a heavy squat session?
Aim for 0.4 g/kg of protein within 90 minutes — whey, eggs, or Greek yoghurt all work. Pair it with fast carbs (rice, banana, potato) to spike insulin and shuttle amino acids into muscle.
